Angel City Audio is owned and operated by Hugh Nguyen, a longtime audiophile and founder of HTN Enterprises. We are a different kind of audio company, eschewing direct sales as well as large scale brick & mortar presence in favor of a small network of dealers across the country who function as a team. This allows ACA to focus on product without managing a large company and all the associated distractions, while still maintaining a close link to the dealers and a short path to the customer. Our dealers are an extension of us and partners in this endeavor - not just retailers.
We hope to bridge the gap between the traditional audio purchase experience and the internet direct sales model by offering personalized service and an equally strong focus on both the online community and traditional high end buyers. Most importantly, our focus is you!

Acoustic Fields is proud to announce our “Room within a Room” incorporating our Proprietary Activated Carbon, Open Cell Foam, Quadratic Diffusors along with our Activated Carbon infused Speaker and Listening Position Platform. Activated Carbon enables our Diaphragmatic Low Frequency absorption Modules and Platforms to manage the Peaks and Nulls that plague all small rooms. Due to the unique absorption qualities of these modules, they are able to tame the most severe low frequency pressure peaks and dips within small rooms.
Acoustic Fields Proprietary Open Cell Foam has been designed to have the smoothest absorption curve to provide a natural and organic quality to manage the reflections within our rooms in that critical 125 hz. - 500 hz. region. Engineers know the importance of this frequency range when it comes to music and voice. We offer a wide variety of finishes and fabric choices to provide a custom designed room to meet your needs for a High Resolution listening environment that has unparalleled attack, decay, note/instrument and voice separation that the most discriminating audio enthusiast will enjoy..
We will be demonstrating the Room within a Room in Northwest 3 located in the Double Tree Courtyard across from the Ballroom and Marketplace at the Pacific Audio Fest on July 29 - 31.
Acoustic Fields a full palette of acoustic treatments including our Proprietary Activate Carbon ACDA Series product lines, Proprietary Open Cell Foam and Quadratic Diffusors. Along with our 40 product line, Acoustic Fields provides Design Services for custom designed rooms built from the ground up. The Design Service has two parts: Noise and Acoustic Treatment. Noise Transmission designs are to reduce energy coming in or leaving the room through the barrier wall. Absorption and Diffusion are designed into the room to manage energy from Low Frequency Pressure, Reflections of midrange and high frequency energy within a room. We take pride in assisting our clients with a proven strategy for success.
We offer two ways to secure our technology. You can purchase production units from us and we assist in the selection and placement of these products for the desired results or you can use our DIY approach. Those using our DIY approach have options of either standard build plans for individual product builds or custom rooms we design. The specified materials can be purchased from us, follow the provided build plans, and build your own units or even construct your own room using our design and treatment materials materials. We assist in developing a proven process to ensure success and we guarantee the results. We have never had a product returned since we started 16 years ago. Not even a piece of foam.
